Coal Mining Structure Design - Mozambique - Africa

In this study we realized the static and dynamic analysis in this metallic structure in coal mining localized in Tete – Mozambique – Africa.


We had the challenge in this project design the metallic structure natural frequencies, considering the excitation frequencies from equipments installed in the structure, all reinforcements and structural changes was considered the structure operational and also without major changes that could force the stop in the production process.


In first place we had the data from structural measurements with accelerometers, with those information from spectrum and level of vibration, in a FEM (Finite Element Method) software, we input those data and design a structure avoiding resonances and creating a correct stiffness to allow maximum lifetime and structural vibration level reduction.
